Ainthorpe Farm is a stone built farmhouse set in the village of Danby in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors. Situated towards the Esk Valley, its an ideal base to explore the enchanting heather moorland, home to many film and television locations, including the long running Heartbeat. The surrounding Heritage Coast comprising of Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay also plays host to first class attractions and stretched golden sands, perfect for wildlife watching!
The B&B comprises of two double rooms containing bath or shower facilities. Room 1 has been recently refurbished to infuse Victorian period features such as an original cast fire place. With its high ceilings, and view of the mature garden, this room feels spacious. Room 2 has been refurbished to a high standard and maintains garden views and a high pressure shower. Splendid antique fabrics and furnishings make this double feel especially cosy and the lit Victorian fireplace makes it perfect for a romantic retreat.
