The house offers a variety of lovely en suite guest rooms which allow the perfect opportunity to relax after gentle strolls within the peaceful surroundings. If you prefer an active holiday then the North Yorkshire Moors offers many challenging cycle routes and walking paths or the quaint traditional coastal towns such as Robin Hood's Bay make a fantastic day out.
The near winding cobbled streets of Whitby offer local craft shops dealing in jewellery made from the finest, famous Whitby jet and local photographs by Victorian resident, Frank Meadow Sutcliffe.
The small fishing town has been untarnished by time and the old inns and ancient ruins of Whitby Abbey dominate the stunning harbour and coastline. Whitby also embraces its associations with Captain Cook and Dracula with its yearly regatta, cliff top ghost walks and many other events which always provide something fun for everyone.
