This small family run self catering cottage agency has 16 properties in and around Askrigg. All are historic properties, some grade II listed and they are managed by their owners. The cottages are inspected by Visit Britain and are generally 4 and 5 star rated.
Askrigg is the home of Skeldale House where vet James Herriot lived in the TV series 'All Creatures Great and Small'. The Kings Arms and the Drovers Arms made many appearances in the series.
The village's tall houses and narrow, cobbled streets are centred around St Oswald's Church and there is a good range of walks in the surrounding area, some with wonderful views.
