Bay Tree Cottage is situated in the heart of the lovely coastal village of Staithes, not far from Whitby. Staithes is a picturesque village which, due to sympathetic National Park restriction, as managed to avoid any modern developments which are not in keeping with the style of the village. It is consequently as charming and interesting as it was 200 years ago.
The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people, and is extremely well equipped, boasting every kitchen utensil you can think of down to a potato ricer! Its stylish design includes Shaker style units. The lovely outdoor dining area is a sun trap during the day, and is a lovely place to relax of an evening, enjoying a drink whilst cooking on the barbeque.
The three double bedrooms are all beautifully decorated. The third is the most spacious, and even has an en suite with Jacuzzi bath and shower.

Situated in the centre of the Old Town of Staithes, a traditional coastal village steeped in history of fishing and smuggling
