This delightful and tranquil rural cottage located in the North York Moors National Park has spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, and makes an excellent base for visiting York, Helmsley, Scarborough, Whitby and the North Yorkshire coastline.
The traditional, stone built cottage with authentic flagged floors and beamed ceilings sleeps seven, and is well kept by its warm and hospitable owners who are always on hand living just next door in the farmhouse.
The ground floor comprises a comfortable living room with wood burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a laundry/drying/boot room (ideal for walkers), a ground floor double bedroom and a bathroom with electric shower.
Upstairs, guests will find a large double bedroom, a single room and a bunk bed room, as well as a family bathroom.
The cottage benefits from oil-fired central heating and electricity, and logs for the stove are included so guests relax by a warming log fire. Linen and bath towels are also provided.
Broadfields Cottage is perfect for both walkers and family groups, and pets are also welcome by arrangement so you can escape with the whole family. Guests will find maps to help them plan their days out, and a range of books, games and a TV with video and DVD for those evenings in. There's a variety of eating places and a post office/shop within short driving distance.
