Brompton Holiday Flats - Scarborough

Brompton Holiday Flats have a wonderful location - they’re in the middle of a small promontory which is also the location for Scarborough Castle. And because it’s on a headland, with bays either side, there are some superb sea views front and back. In fact, the coast is only a few minutes from the beach.

All six Brompton Holiday Flats have been furnished to a high standard in a tasteful way, and are modern, cosy and comfortable. Each flat has its own private facilities. All the kitchenettes have a full size cooker as well as a microwave oven, and a fridge. And each flat has an LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player.

Although close to the sea front, they’re also only a 5-minute walk away from the shops and town centre, and all that Scarborough has to offer. The Castle is a matter of yards away and makes a great place to explore and as an observation point over the long, sandy beaches.

Scarborough’s a great place for holiday. Not only does it have two marvellous beaches - the North Bay and the South Bay - either side of the promontory, a funfair and amusement park, theatres, cinemas and galleries and museums, it also has plenty of great places to eat out - from coast-side cafés to a range of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets, And visitors will also find plenty of places to buy good old Yorkshire fish ‘n’ chips, made with fresh locally caught seafish. And further afield there are the North York Moors, small coastal villages - many of them with a history of smuggling and derring-do - and towns and cities such as Pickering, Helmsley and York. Between York and Scarborough there are lots of superb places to visits and exciting things to do. Castle Howard is near Helmsley - a fine stately home in magnificent grounds.
