This lovely 16th Century coaching inn has undergone tasteful modernisation to provide guests with maximum comfort, whilst retaining its old world charm and character. As a family run inn, the Crown has a warm and friendly atmosphere and provides cosy accommodation.
The Crown is situated overlooking the market square in the lovely town of Helmsley, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. High quality traditional English food is served in the Crown, made using excellent local produce. You can also enjoy a traditional ale whilst relaxing in our bar.
The main house has 12 individually designed bedrooms, each with its own character. A further 6 bedrooms are located in the converted barn and stables, where we have the perfect family suite which has its own entrance.
