We’ve put much thought and considerable planning into making each bedroom at Dillons very special indeed. All the rooms are elegant and luxurious, but each is individual in its style and décor, and we add some special little extra touches for your complete delight: lavish décor, sumptuous beds with fine Egyptian cotton linen, flat screen TV/DVD, Wi-Fi internet access, iPod docking and Fairtrade and Yorkshire treats in your individually styled room. The en suite bathrooms are a delight at Dillons, all immaculately finished in travertine (the stone used to build the walls of the Colosseum in Rome) and white porcelain, and to complete the experience there are fluffy bathrobes and a great selection of complimentary toiletries.

In the guest sitting room guests can relax with afternoon tea and home-made cakes or enjoy one of the many books or DVDs on offer. Or you may choose to borrow a DVD to watch in the luxury of your individually styled room. We leave the choice to you.

We consider breakfast to be the most important meal of the day and we like to give our guests as wide a choice as possible. So, at breakfast time, guests can experience the full splendour of our rightly-renowned Yorkshire hospitality. As far as we are able we handpick products from bespoke local suppliers to provide a rich variety of good food, including healthy options and seasonal specials. You may be tempted by the full Yorkshire Breakfast, home-made breads, Fortunes of Whitby kippers (a traditional English way to start the day), or maybe a lighter option. It’s sheer indulgence, but it is very satisfying to start the day with the best Whitby has to offer..

Dillons has a superb location ¬¬- it’s only a few minutes’ walk from both the town centre Whitby and also for the seaside delights of the West Cliff. Whitby has superb bijou shops and boutiques - specialising in antiques, paintings, fossils and Whitby jet. The long sandy beach (you can walk all the way to Sandsend when the tide is out) has a Blue Flag. And Whitby has a host of interesting museums, art galleries, amusements, parks and gardens, and, rising gloriously above the harbour is the ruined Abbey.

Dillons has some on-site parking, and there’s plenty of unrestricted, on-road parking in the immediate area too. We are also able to offer secure on-site parking for motorbikes.
