Tucked away in a residential area, this striking Victorian building, now a family run boutique hotel, was formerly a mill owners house. The hotel is now owned by Richard and Margaret Stoyle, who have 30 years of experience in the hotel business, and offer warm and friendly service to all of their guests in order that they have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The Five Rise Locks Hotel has 9 recently refurbished bedrooms, each individual in shape, size, decor and furnishings, giving each its own unique atmosphere. Some rooms boast breathtaking views of the stunning Aire Valley, over which the hotel looks.
The hotel has two restaurants, both very popular, and both overlooking the hotel gardens. Food at the Five Rise Locks is freshly prepared using local ingredients wherever possible, and is ideal combined with one of the delicious wines that we have carefully selected for our wine list.
