Foal Yard Cottage - York

A beautiful barn conversion, Foal Yard Cottage is an ideal base for those with designs on exploring the wonderful city of York and the surrounding area.

With a regular bus service every 10 minutes into York, and with plenty of private parking, the cottage is located in the village of New Earswick and has access to patio furniture and lawned gardens, perfect for a relaxing evening after a long day exploring York's historic streets, or for a sunny breakfast before venturing out into the Yorkshire Moors, Dales or Coast.

The two-bedroomed self-catering holiday cottage is suitable for couples or families, and enjoys many period features including lovely beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove (we have lots of logs freely available). Recently converted, the barn has a spacious and modern, fully equipped kitchen/diner (and you’ll be treated to a box of groceries upon arrival – just the job if you’ve had a long and tiring journey), and as well as the wood burner, the lounge boasts an impressive 60” flat-screen TV with freeview and an excellent selection of DVDs.
