The Fox and Hounds is an 18th century coaching inn, run by the resident proprietors Andrew & Catherine Stephens, to the highest standards of comfort and cuisine. It is located in the peaceful village of Sinnington, on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park.
There are ten en suite bedrooms, three of which are larger premium rooms with bath and shower, a comfortable residents’ lounge, and “olde worlde” lounge bar, a private dining room, and a spacious and elegant AA Rosette award-winning restaurant.
Sinnington is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1087, and has church and a tithe barn which date back to the 12th century. It’s a marvellous spot for a holiday location, as it is close to the moors, the historic town of York, the Yorkshire coast and Whitby, and plenty of market towns and historic castles, stately homes, museums, and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
