Herrington Park Holiday Log Cabins - York

Herrington Park is a delightful friendly family run business, with eight beautiful individual log cabins set within a peaceful location in the pretty village of Sutton Upon Derwent, close to York.

All our log cabins are set within approximately a quarter acre of grounds surrounded by fruits trees, hedging and mature shrubs giving you all the privacy you may desire.

You can have a choice of either a two or three bedroom lodge, the three bedroom lodges have comfy king size beds in the double rooms. Each of the log cabins are decorated and furnished to a very high standard and consist of a fully equipped kitchen complete with a microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer, everything you may need to create your culinary delights. In the open plan lounge area there are comfy reclining leather sofas and a large colour TV with freeview and a DVD player. All the lodges have a stunning private decked area outside complete with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining on a warm summer evening. Also each lodge has it’s very own hot tub which is just the place to sit back relax and unwind after a long day travelling or exploring.

Herrington Park is the ideal place to stay for exploring the local area as it is located only a few miles away from the historic city of York, with its array of shops, museums, cafes, restaurants and the famous city walls, all just waiting to be discovered.

If you fancy going further afield then less than an hour's drive away there is the stunning East Coastline with the picturesque coastal resorts of Bridlington, Filey, Whitby and Scarborough with its delightful stretches of sandy beaches. Or you could take a trip across the North Yorkshire Moors and visit the quaint villages whilst taking in the fantastic scenery.
