The cottages at High Grange are dog friendly and 1 dog is welcome by prior arrangement (2 dogs in the Farmhouse cottage).

The village of Exelby is only a 10-15 minute walk away with a good welcoming pub/restaurant and beer garden which also offers a free dine and ride service. The charming Yorkshire market town of Bedale is only 2 miles away with a great selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and takeaways.
