Horseshoe Cottage is a cosy 18th century, stone built cottage on a quiet lane in a tiny Dales village. The South facing cottage enjoys open fell views in magnificent walking and cycling country. There is a comfortable sitting room with beamed ceiling and a wood burning stove, kitchen/dining room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The cottage is rated 3 star by Visit Britain.
Starbotton is a traditional Dales village nestling under the slopes of Buckden Pike and beside the River Wharfe. Buckden and Kettlewell are a couple of miles walk away along the river and Starbotton has an excellent inn serving ales and good food. This is magnificent walking and cycling country and The Dales Way passes Starbotton on the opposite side of the river.
