Lemon Cottage - Whitby

Lemon Cottage is a new 4 star “villa” style holiday cottage.

The cottage is situated within the grounds of our 5 star Seaview Holiday Park which is situated in 10 acres of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and only 800 metres from the heritage coast.  Our holiday parks (Seaview & Northcliffe) have also won the prestigious David Bellamy Conservation Award for the conservation and care for the local environment.

There’s always plenty to see and do and the nearby cobbled streets of Whitby boast many splendid shops. Discover the darker side of Whitby that inspired Bram Stokers Dracula or visit the historical captain cook monument.

The accommodation overlooks the impressive Esk Valley and is only 3 miles from Whitby and 2 miles from Robin Hoods Bay.  This friendly family run park offers a warm welcome to both families and couples. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating break or an exciting and energetic break Lemon Cottage is in an ideal location for both.

There is direct access to the ‘old railway track’ for walking or cycling to either Whitby or Robin Hoods Bay.   Alternatively, just 800 metres down the private lane you can join the Cleveland Way Coastal Footpath and it’s just a few metres to the local bus stop and village pub.  

Lemon cottage is double glazed, centrally heated and luxuriously furnished.  It is a comfortable, well equipped ground floor accommodation sleeping four.  There are two en-suite bedrooms; one twin and one double with a king size bed.  The high quality en-suite shower rooms are fully equipped with the essentials and heated towel rails.

All linen and towels are provided and complimentary packs provided on arrival including tea, coffee, milk, locally baked biscuits, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel and soap.  Cleaning packs are also provided.

Patio doors from all the main rooms lead onto a private terrace with table & chairs.  This is a perfect spot to sit back, relax and enjoy the sunny days and summer evenings.

Lemon cottage offers its own entertainment with I-pod docking stations, dvd/cd player with a selection of dvd’s/cd’s, flat screen LCD TV & sky freeview along with plenty of books and games.

Our Seaview and Northcliffe Holiday Parks offer excellent on-site facilities such as:

• Games rooms, laundry rooms, 24 hr emergency telephone and play parks on both parks
• Shop, café/bar & off licence, 2 football pitches, grass tennis court and basketball net on Northcliffe
• Reception with tourist information open 7 days a week 9.30 – 12.30 1.30-4.30pm
