Richard & Trish Lord bought and refurbished Littlebank House in 2006, and are now in the process of landscaping the extensive garden and grounds. The House was built in 1693, and has a prime location, in the midst of grounds that are ringed with mature deciduous trees and close to the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Littlebank is the epitome of peace and tranquillity and where “free range” applies to more than just the house’s chickens.
The refurbished guest accommodation comprises four comfy and luxurious double rooms, each with its own character. There is a modern and tasteful breakfast room which is light and airy and overlooks the generous garden. And there is also a games room with a pool table.
As well as providing supremely comfortable accommodation for humans, Richard & Trish offer grazing and turnout for horses, and the house is close to the Settle Loop Bridleway.
