Long Acre Lodge and Studio - Thirsk

The Lodge at Long Acre is a lovely, family-sized bungalow offering comfortable cottage style, self catering accommodation. It is set in two acres of peaceful, quiet grounds next to Long Acre Bed and Breakfast and is just a short (10 minute) walk from the traditional market town of Thirsk, right in the heart of the area known as "Herriot Country".

The Lodge has two bedrooms (one double and one single), a kitchen and a bathroom. There's also a comfortable lounge/dining room to relax and unwind in. All the rooms are furnished to a high standard, in a traditional style with plenty of home comforts for your enjoyment.

The Studio was purpose built and offers hotel style accommodation with an open plan twin bedroom/livingroom and separate shower room. A separate kitchen completes The Studio, making it an ideal self catering option for couples or, as an addition to The Lodge.

Both the Lodge and the Studio have lovely private gardens and plenty of off street parking.

Take a leisurely walk through the beautiful grounds where you'll find a picnic table, a recreational field and a play area for children complete with a slide, swings and a sandpit.

The owners of Long Acre keep rare breeds of poultry, peacocks and pheasants as well as rescue owls and birds of prey. You'll find fresh free-range eggs available throughout the day. It's an ideal place for families with young children and animal lovers of all ages.
