Mallard Grange is a 16th century farmhouse in the sumptuous countryside of North Yorkshire. It’s a very special place with a warm and welcoming aura - one which induces guests to return time and time again. One of its previous owners, John Aislaby - a former Chancellor of the Exchequer - was also the owner of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal. These two properties are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The current owners, Charles and Maggie Johnson, delight in giving their guests the best of English country living, and have received several prestigious awards for the hospitality they provide for their guests.
All the rooms have their own distinct character - but all are spacious and have gorgeous views of the countryside around the house. And all are furnished and equipped to a high standard and have those thoughtful and quirky extras that add a special magic to a holiday.
