Midway between the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales, Milton House is perfectly situated for exploring the best of Yorkshire. And it’s also a great place to come back to after a busy day walking or riding or touring this beautiful part of the world.

We set store by making our guests feel as comfortable as possible, and after a good night’s sleep in one of our luxurious rooms (equipped with DVD, TV, tea and coffee-making, bath robes, plus fresh flowers and a complimentary bottle of wine), guests can start the day energised with one of our hearty breakfasts made from locally-sourced products.

And if you wish to relax without straying too far, then we have large, private and picturesque grounds and a garden where you can play bowls, lawn darts or croquet.

Guests with horses are particularly welcome as we can provide stabling, grazing and a twenty by forty metre manège.
