Monkgate Guest House Bed & Breakfast - York

The Monkgate Guest House is situated just outside the city walls of the beautiful, historic city of York. A favourite for many, our lovely Guest house offers comfortable, traditional Yorkshire B&B accommodation, where you are guaranteed a warm welcome.

All of our en-suite bedrooms are individually furnished, and have a colour television and hospitality tray. We welcome families, and have special family accommodation comprising two adjacent bedrooms, one double and one twin, which join together. The en-suite joins the twin room. We have tried to ensure that our family accommodation is as child-friendly as possible by providing suitable furniture, DVDs and games, and ensuring that the facilities are accessible for children.

Our dining room has a comfortable seating area for you to meet or wait for friends. Breakfast is served from our Aga, or alternatively we will deliver a continental breakfast to your room.
