The Mount Hotel is situated in the delightful coastal resort of Scarborough and  overlooks the fantastic sweeping South Bay and the stunning Rotunda Museum. The hotel was established over half a century ago and has built up a strong reputation in Scarborough for providing excellent service and good quality guest accommodation, making it the perfect place to stay for a weekend break, summer holiday or for a business trip. The Mount Hotel boasts 54 guest bedrooms all with en suite facilities and there are three guest suites available, 28 of these rooms have spectacular sea views overlooking South Bay. All the rooms have been decorated and furnished to a high standard, offering first class guest accommodation and come complete with a colour TV, direct dial telephone, radio alarm clocks and tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel has a light and airy restaurant which is open daily to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant has a very extensive menu which features a vast selection of culinary delights making mealtimes a very memorable part of your stay. Our restaurant can also cater for business lunches and dinner parties. If you fancy a more informal setting then visit our cosy well stocked lounge bar which prides itself in catering for all tastes.

If you are planning a conference, an intimate special celebration or dinner party then The Mount Hotel is the venue for you as it is home to The Stilwell Suite, a self contained function room which can cater for up to 20-25 guests.

This stunning hotel is located close to the Spa Conference Centre and is within walking distance of the town centre which boasts a vast selection of shops, restaurants, as well as the medieval castle, spectacular sandy beaches and busy harbour. Scarborough has something for all ages and is perfect for a family beach holiday or romantic weekend break.

If you fancy going further a field then further up the coast there is the beautiful coastal town of Whitby which is home to the famous Abbey and also has an array of specialist shops, museums and restaurants. Or in land there is the charming town of Pickering, the enchanting North Yorkshire Moors and the historic City of York all well worth a visit.
