Mowbray Stable Cottages are conveniently situated within a mile of the market town of Thirsk and the village of South Kilvington, in the heart of Herriot Country. They provide an ideal base for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Dales, as well as being within easy reach of York, Ripon, Durham and the east coast.
Both cottages are equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, colour TV, gas central heating and shaver point. There is ample off-road parking as well as a shared patio area with garden furniture and a shared laundry/games room.
Linen (but not towels, which are available to hire) is included in the price. Pets (including horses) are welcome by arrangement. Unfortunately smokers are less welcome – sorry!
Whilst the cottages are within easy walking distance of both Thirsk and South Kilvington, a car is definitely an advantage, as there is so much to see and do in the beautiful surrounding countryside, and public transport is limited.
