Nuns Cottage is a Grade 2 listed building in Richmond, one of North Yorkshire most inspiring market towns. The building was originally three cottages when it was built in the 18th century, but these have been converted into one beautiful stone-built house, which retains the olde-world charm of the original decorations and is furnished with antiques.
Judith Flint, the owner, aims to offer her guests a high standard of comfort from the moment they walk through the door until the time they have to (reluctantly) leave.
Rooms are individually furnished, but all to a very high standard and guests have use of the communal sitting room and rather gorgeous private and secluded walled gardens.
Nuns Cottage is only a short walk from the centre of Richmond, and there’s plenty to see and do nearby, including the impressive Richmond Castle, the Georgian Theatre, the Richmondshire Museum, and the Green Howards Regimental Museum.
