Judy and Peter French offer you a very warm welcome to the Old Forge in Wilton, near Pickering. The building dates back to 1701, and was originally the local blacksmith's cottage and forge. The main building offers excellent guest accommodation, and the old stables have been converted into two lovely self catering cottages.
The guest bedrooms in The Old Forge are comfortable and cosy. They are each well equipped with en suite facilities, a TV, radio alarm clock and a hairdryer.
The Old Forge is ideally situated for those interested in walking, cycling, horse riding, visiting coastal towns such as Whitby, a trip to the city of York or a wander around Castle Howard and the many other stately homes and castles which can be found in this part of Yorkshire.
