Old Oak Cottages - Thirsk

Old Oak Cottages are an amazing group of eight cottages - converted from what were once farm buildings they have all been refurbished, decorated, furnished and equipped to the highest standards. They are all exceptionally well maintained. Besides the facilities inside the cottages, guests can make use of the owners’ indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and spa bath, as well as the all-weather tennis court. And for kids, there’s a picnic area with a play fort, a climbing frame, slide, swings, football net and trampoline. And there are plenty of walks on the 400 acres of farmland for all the family to join in.

Six of the cottages border a large landscaped courtyard, and the other two are separate, the other side of a hedge and gardens. All enjoy superb views across the marvellous North Yorkshire countryside. Little Thirkleby is just a few miles from the stunning cliffs of Sutton Bank and the start of the North York Moors.
