Oldstead Grange's location is one of outstanding beauty, with the farm spreading over several hills and valleys, overlooked by the forest which covers the steep edge of the Hambleton Hills.
Several footpaths cross through the farm, leading to Byland Abbey, Kilburn and Coxwold. In spring acres of bluebell woods and primrose and violet covered clearings add beautiful splashes of colour to the landscape. Visitors can explore the farmland to discover its history, wildlife and nature.
