Ian and Carol Burdon, owners of Jervaulx Abbey, welcome you to Park House, a beautiful, stone-built bed and breakfast carefully and lovingly converted from a pair of former workers’ cottages, set in the spectacular grounds of the Jervaulx Abbey Estate.

On arrival guests can relax and settle into the high quality bed and breakfast accommodation with complimentary tea and a slice of homemade cake, before setting out to explore the enchanting, atmospheric ruin of the 12th Century Cistercian abbey and the stunning grounds of the Jervaulx estate (entry free for B&B guests). The Jervaulx Abbey tearoom is just a short walk away and offers a variety of tasty treats.

Many scenic walks, ranging from a gentle stroll around the beautiful grounds, to more energetic ventures out into the Yorkshire Dales, all start right on the B&B's doorstep. The charming market towns of Leyburn, Bedale and Masham are all nearby, with historic York and the spa town of Harrogate just a short drive away. Favourite pastimes at Jervaulx Abbey include painting, botany and photography, which is hardly surprising with such a magnificent setting playing home to over 150 species of wild flowers. At the B&B, a quiet, peaceful reading room is available to guests and provides a wide range of books and games.

All rooms have a TV with DVD player, a radio and tea and coffee making facilities.
