Both Hebden Bridge, with its beautiful riverside walks, and Halifax, where children can visit the Eureka Children's Museum, are very nearby, and are great places to enjoy a day out. The pretty, historic town of Howarth is just half an hour away by car, and was once home to the Brontë sisters.
