Situated on a south facing hillside, with panoramic views over Pennine moorland, Lower High Trees Barn is an ideal retreat for those who appreciate enchanting countryside, peace and tranquillity. Guests are free to enjoy the country garden and meadow, which form part of the farmland that surrounds the barn.
The residence dates back to the 19th Century and has retained many original features, including exposed stone walls and wooden beams. It maintains a cosy atmosphere and hosts all of the necessary amenities to ensure that you enjoy a comfortable stay.
The local area is one of exceptional beauty, and Calderdale's extensive network of footpaths is directly accessible from the barn. We can also provide local maps and tourist information. Alternatively if you’re also fond of larger cosmopolitan areas brimming with shops and restaurants, then Bradford and Manchester are only a short train journey, or why not go back in time and explore the Viking period in medieval York!
