The Black Bull Inn - Northallerton

The Black Bull is a warm and welcoming inn with years of history, where all guests are greeted with a smile, whether visiting for business or leisure, with your family or alone. At one time it was a coaching inn in this busy market town, for stagecoaches on the long journey between London and Scotland.

Now it offers clean, modern, tastefully furnished and modestly-priced accommodation in the centre of North Yorkshire’s county town. There are 5 en suite double bedrooms and 2 en suite twin rooms, all of which are newly-decorated, and offer home comforts.

The Black Bull provides good honest “pub grub” and a great selection of wines, spirits and beers - including cask ales. And all are served by our helpful and friendly staff - whose aim is to make your stay the most enjoyable.

Northallerton is a busy market town (with lively markets on Wednesday and Saturday) and has a great range of shops - from department stores to specialist boutiques - and cafés when you need to rest your legs. It’s ideally situated for days out to the Dales or the North York Moors, or for visiting towns and cities such as Ripon, Richmond, Thirsk and York.
