The Countryman’s Inn is in Hunton, a small village between Bedale and Leyburn and within five miles of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It offers a traditional Yorkshire warm welcome to guests, with comfortable accommodation, good food (winner of an AA Dinner Award), and excellent real ales - some of them brewed locally.
The bar has an oak-beamed ceiling, and - depending on the season - a blazing log fire. And, if the weather is warmer, there is a beer garden and patio area for wining and dining alfresco. The inn has a reputation for its relaxed atmosphere, very friendly host and staff, and for welcoming families with children.
This part of beautiful North Yorkshire has so much to offer the visitor with two National Parks (the North York Moors National Park is only 15 miles away) and a host of activities just a short drive away.
