This large, family run guest house occupies an enviable position in the peaceful fishing village of Runswick Bay, just 8 miles north of Whitby on the beautiful North Yorkshire Coast.

The 12 spacious guest bedrooms are comfortably furnished and well equipped, and include family, double, 4 poster, twin and single rooms. Many of the rooms are ground floor with easy access and all are en suite.

The picturesque village of Runswick Bay with its sandy beaches, rock pools and quaint old fishing houses is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. The Yorkshire Coast is a great place for bird watching, fossil hunting and jet collecting. The harbour town of Whitby is just a short drive away and offers a range of restaurants, cafes and pubs, plus a host of museums, galleries, shops and visitor attractions, including Whitby Abbey and the Dracula Experience. For those who enjoy walking and cycling, the North Yorkshire Moors provide a variety of routes for all abilities including the popular Cleveland Way.

The large, comfortable guest lounge provides an ideal place to relax after a hard days exploring and sightseeing and the on site restaurant provides a table d'hote menu with regularly changing dishes made from local produce. Guests can bring their own drinks to be chilled and served free of charge.
