The Old Farmhouse in Raskelf is situated just 2½ miles from the popular market town of Easingwold, 10 miles south of Thirsk, the home of the World of James Herriot Museum, and 14 miles north of the beautiful, historic city of York. We are an ideal base for exploring this spectacular part of North Yorkshire, with the North York Moors National Park, the Yorkshire Dales, "James Herriot Country", Castle Howard and a terrific assortment of English Heritage and National Trust properties all within easy reach.
We pride ourselves on the quality of accommodation and service, and offer a warm welcome to our home. Following a night in one of our comfortable en-suite rooms you will be served a generous breakfast in our attractive breakfast room. We think our breakfast is a bit special - it comprises a range of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, juice and a traditional cooked breakfast, rounded off with toast, marmalade and preserves and a pot of tea or coffee.
Guests are always welcome to relax in the Guest Lounge at any time throughout their stay.
