Two lovely, south facing cottages converted from stone barns in the peaceful village of Thwaite in upper Swaledale. Springs cottage is a small, cosy cottage while Meadow View cottage is spacious with a large lounge window overlooking the hay meadows and Kisdon Hill. To the front of the cottages there is a flagged area with garden furniture and plenty of room to park cars. To the rear there are beautiful views up the dale to Kisdon Hill.
Thwaite is surrounded by marvellous upland scenery. There are miles and miles of stone walls with barns dotted here and there. This is ideal walking country and the Pennine Way passes through Thwaite. The section from here to Keld over Kisdon Hill is well known for its marvellous views. Thwaite has a restaurant and Muker, just a mile away has a pub, shop and tearoom.
