Tudor House offers excellent Bed and breakfast and a warm welcome from Bob and Sheila Marchant - who have spent most of their working lives in hospitality and customer service trades.
They have six guest bedrooms, all but one fully en suite, ranging from one single (with separate private bathroom), through, one twin, three delightful doubles and a family suite which can accommodate up to five.
Tudor House was built in 1849 as a railway station - a most unusual one for the Victorian era. It’s no longer a station but it is still alongside the Settle-Carlisle line - one of the most beautiful routes in the country.
Trains these days are much less frequent than they used to be when the line was a main route from London to Scotland. Tudor House is the ideal place for railway enthusiasts and those who enjoy walking, riding, pony-trekking, cycling bird-watching or any of hundreds of other activities available
