Waggon and Horses Inn - York

The Waggon and Horses in York is a lovely, traditional York inn owned and run by Paul and Mandy. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are tastfully decorated, comfortable, and have large windows which allow plenty of natural light in.

There is a lively, friendly atmosphere in the bar, where many events are hosted. Our regular quiz nights are very popular, perhaps because all entrants are offered a free supper, and the prize for winning is a gallon of ale!

The Waggon and Horses serves a wide range of mouth watering dishes, all of which are cooked to order using fresh, local produce. The menu changes regularly so that we can use the freshest seasonal ingredients available. 

Located just a 10 minute walk from the city centre, this cosy York pub is an ideal base for exploring the ancient city of York.
