Waterton Park Hotel - Walton

The Waterton Park Hotel overlooks the beautiful Georgian Mansion, Walton Hall, which stands on its own island, surrounded by a 26 acre lake, and can only be accessed by the picturesque iron footbridge which joins the island to the rest of Walton Hall's grounds. The Hall was once owned by Charles Waterton, an eccentric traveller and naturalist in the 1800s, who transformed the Hall's beautiful grounds into the first ever nature reserve. The Waterton Park Hotel sits amidst Walton Hall's extensive grounds, which include an 18 hole golf course, beautiful parkland and woodland.

Bedrooms in the Waterton Park hotel are well appointed and elegant, and facilities include satellite television, wireless internet and 24 hour room service. There is also a gymnasium, swimming pool, spa bath, sauna and steam room, all of which are free of charge for guests to the hotel.
