Journey to West Leas Farm cottages, near the oldest city in Britain, where a warm Yorkshire welcome and great hospitality awaits you amongst beautiful green hills. These five simply appointed and fully-equipped holiday cottages have been recently converted from an 18th century stone barn, and boast original features and magnificent views over a wooded valley. As autumn draws in and strips the trees, a lake is revealed.
All cottages have been converted and maintained to the highest standard, each with their individual character. Granary Cottage is the smallest of the five cottages and is full of original features including oak beams and a stone external staircase, but don't worry there is a set of internal stairs so you don't need to go outside into the dark to go up to bed! The cottage consists of a lounge/dining area, spacious double bedroom, bathroom with shower facilities and a fully fitted kitchen. The Old Milk House is the newest addition and consists of a spacious twin bedroom, a bathroom with a stunning large walk in shower, lounge and a magnificent oak and marble kitchen. Both these cottages are cosy, but offer a fantastic retreat for couples or a small family and boast great views across open fields.
Archway is the largest of all the cottages and features the striking arch of the old barn door, perfect for admiring the stunning country views. The Byre consists of two bedrooms, bathroom with a stunning walk in shower, fully fitted modern kitchen and large lounge area. Both of the cottages, can accommodate bigger groups, and are both spacious and comfortably furnished for a restful stay.
The five cottages have all been refurbished to include rear patios and gardens, the perfect place to relax with a cup of tea or a glass of wine in the afternoon sunshine, with gates leading to the rolling countryside beyond.
