Whitby Holiday Apartments offer self-catering accommodation to a very high standard in a splendid location on Whitehall Landing - the site of the old shipyard famous for its connections with Captain Cook and his ship HMS Endeavour.

The apartments have the most spectacular views of the harbour and are just a 7 minute stroll on the flat to the beach/town centre and amenities. And there’s FREE designated parking immediately outside the door, making these apartments very convenient for visitors.

One of the apartments was a finalist in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast awards in the Outstanding Customer Service category in 2008 but both apartments are equipped and maintained to a very high standard with well-sprung beds, crisp bed linen, and some of the best views in Whitby.

The Seal View Apartment has outside seating in the riverside walkway which runs in front of the apartments. The views the ruined Abbey and the Lower Harbour from both apartments are quite spectacular and make them memorable places to stay.

Another highlight is the amazing wildlife that can be seen from the Apartments - whether it’s seals swimming in the harbour or basking on the rocks, or swans serenely and gracefully gliding by, or cormorants swooping down and diving into the water to catch their breakfast fresh from the sea. It’s all absolutely fascinating and marvellous for children of all ages to watch. The low sills in the ground floor apartment also make it ideal for wheelchair-bound people to sit and watch all the goings-on too. And accompanying the sights, you can hear the chug-chug of boats, the mews of the seagulls, and the whistle and chuff-chuff of the steam trains leaving the station.

The close proximity to the town centre means that guests are close to the wealth of fascinating places to visit and things to see and do, and also to some of the town’s fine restauarants - close enough to visit them all on foot, saving money and helping to save the environment.
