What’s on in July

We’re looking forward to the long summer evenings and enjoying all the wonderful events that are on offer throughout North Yorkshire this July. There are some fantastic things happening all over the county for you to take part in.

Settle Flowerpot Festival

Throughout the summer, you can be amazed by the wonderful flowerpot displays all over town. Wander through the streets and enjoy all the fantastic flowerpot designs from the locals.

Staxtonbury

Come along to the 11th year of Staxtonbury, the family friendly music festival. There are fantastic live bands performing all weekend, and this year, there’s more entertainment, new stages and more opportunities to camp.

Thirsk Picnic in the Park

Enjoy the wonderful artists and headline artist Beyond Madness at this year’s Thirsk Picnic in the Park. Full of wonderful music, delicious foods, this is a real musical highlight for all the family.

Puffin and Gannet Cruises

The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs are running all through July. Get up close to Yorkshire’s seabirds and experience them in their natural habitat. Make sure you book your place in advance.

Ingleton 1940s Weekend

Discover Aisgill Force

Come along on a guided walk of one of the Yorkshire Dales’ waterfalls. You’ll enjoy a 4 mile walk past the Wensleydale Creamery and into a narrow wooded gorge to see the spectacular falls.

60s Fest

Firework Champions

Castle Howard Triathlon

Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre

Vintage Day at the Yorkshire Air Museum
