There are lots of things happening in Yorkshire to give you all the half term fun you can handle. We’ve brought together a selection of the great things you and the kids can be doing during the break.
Indoor Funfair Harrogate
Treat the kids to an incredible day out at the Indoor Funfair in Harrogate. Once you’re inside, all the rides are free and you can hop on board the ghost train, waltzer, and dodgems as many times as you like! You can find the full list of rides and restrictions on the fair’s website.

Fun at Lightwater Valley
Lightwater Valley are hosting a spectacular range of events throughout half term. There’s indoor and outdoor play, amazing rides, including Eagle’s Claw, Trauma Tower, as well as traditional fairground rides. Children can even enjoy the brand new UV Magic Lights Puppet Show and there will be the chance to meet a selection of farmyard animals visiting from Riggmoor Farm. Make sure you pre-book, no tickets will be sold on the day.

Dark Skies Festival
There’s so much to do during the Dark Skies that we can’t possibly list it all! Highlights include: Go Ape! Zip Night, planetarium experiences, moonrock geocache, astro treasure hunting, and night navigation expeditions.

Lego Sea Explorers at Scarborough SEALIFE
Scarborough SEALIFE have a brand new event that starts during the February half term. Help the team unlock underwater secrets and draw, build, colour your findings.

Stockeld Park’s February Fun Ice Rink

Jorvik Viking Festival
This year’s Jorvik Viking Festival is celebrating the often forgotten Viking women who schemed, fought and led their people through turbulent times. Throughout the festival, you’ll find living history encampments, talks, tours, combat performances and a whole lot more!
