Come along to the Gothic and Alternative Music Festival in Whitby for a spectacular Halloween event. Hear new music, visit alternative stalls and see Whitby Goths in all their glory.

Frightwater Valley

Lightwater valley is transforming into Frightwater Valley this Halloween. Younger visitors can enjoy the fancy dress competition, scary magic shows, trick or treat doors and the spooky character meet and greets. For older visitors, you’ll find thrills and chills in the ScareZone, with a maze and scare walkthrough not for the faint-hearted.

Pumpkin Picking at Thornton Hall Country Park

What could be better than carving a pumpkin you’ve picked yourself? Come along to Thornton Park, choose your own pumpkin and join in with all the spooky activities. There are scary mazes, face painting, lamb and calf feeling, eerie egg collecting and more to keep the whole family entertained this Halloween.

Pumpkin festival and Wizardy school at Cannon Hall Farm

Young witches and wizards can graduate from Wizardry school at Cannon Hall Farm if they manage to complete a series of themed challenges. You can also pick your own pumpkin and watch live entertainment.

Piglets Adventure Farm Pumpkin Festival

Halloween at Forbidden Corner

As well as all the fun to be had within the twisting maze that is Forbidden Corner, you can take part in their special Halloween activities. There’s a fancy dress competition on 31st as well as an ongoing Halloween Quiz as you make your way through the gardens. Can you find all the lost bones?
