Set sail on a boating cruise
There are lots of different options you can choose from for a romantic cruise on Yorkshire’s rivers or up the coastline. You could take an informative ride on the Ouse in York with the city cruises or show off your skills and drive a boat yourself, take your partner for a row up the River Nidd in Knaresborough, have a canal trip in Skipton, or power away in a speedboat in Scarborough.
Romantic beach walks
We’re really lucky to have such a beautiful coastline here in Yorkshire. Our coastal villages cling to the Yorkshire cliffs and have interesting histories of fishing, smuggling and many Jurassic finds. You can stroll along the coast at Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay, Robin Hood’s Bay, Ravenscar, Flamborough, Bempton and Spun Head just to name a few!
