As we move towards winter and Christmas, there are so many awesome things happening across North Yorkshire that you can go along to. As well as incredible firework displays, there are lots of wonderful events and activities you can enjoy this November.
Museum at Night
Head over to Rotunda Museum to experience the exhibits after dark. Enjoy spooky stories, test your skills on the creepy trail and make your own stories with shadow puppets.

Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival
Enjoy the spectacle of Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival as Goths once more flock to Whitby’s streets for this wonderful alternative music festival.

Come along to Thought Bubble, the Yorkshire comic art festival and you’ll be treated to a fantastic range of guests. There will also be stalls filled with merchandise for you to treasure. As the art festival comes to a close, it’ll be joined by Comic Con too on 9th and 10th November.

Chamber Music Festival
The North York Moors National Park are hosting a very special Chamber Music Festival. The enchanting evening of music includes a complimentary drink on arrival. You’ll hear Haydn: string quartet op 54 no 2 in C major, Borodin: string trio in G minor, and Borodin quartet no 2 in D major.

Orton Farmers’ Market
Come along and sample some of the finest Yorkshire produce. With local products and crafts on offer, you’re sure to find something wonderful, possibly even that perfect Christmas present you’ve been looking for…

Ingleton’s Golden Snitch Trail
For all Harry Potter fans, the Inglton Golden Snitch Trail is great fun. Follow clues through the village to discover the illusive snitch. Trail sheets cost just £1.

Litton Birks Loop Fell Race
Put your skills to the test or come along to watch as runners make their way over 4.8 miles of tough climbs and fast descents in Birks Tarn. Registration starts at 10:30am and your £6 enry free includes a chip butty after the race.

Scarborough Treasure Trail
Throughout November and December, you can complete the Scarborough Treasure Trail for your chance to win prizes worth over £1000. All you have to do is pick up your map, find all 21 gold doubloons around the town and unscramble the letters to form a pirate related phrase.
For your chance to win, you need to be at the Brunswick Centre at 7pm on 21st, 28th November or 12th or 19th December. Trail sheets can be collected from 14th November.

Coxwold village market
Enjoy the local produce made by very talented people at Coxwold village market. You’ll get to browse a fantastic range of stalls, including: florists, bee keepers, fromagers, butchers, bakers, jewellers, and lots more. There’s also live music, raffles and delicious local food.
