The cottage sleeps six in three bedrooms and has a high specification bathroom with separate shower. There is a ground floor cloakroom, a bright dining kitchen and a beamed lounge with open fireplace.
Fitted out as a ‘second home’ this stone built cottage has full central heating and wall mounted TV in the lounge and kitchen. There is private parking for one car and a choice of pubs with restaurant facilities nearby, The Hart’s Head and The Black Horse are just yards away.
The bus to Skipton terminates opposite, at the bottom of Belle Hill, and a walk into Settle, to the market place or Booths supermarket, takes a little over ten minutes. The recently opened Settle Riverside is always an interesting route.
This is Ribblesdale, Three Peaks country, with Ingleborough, Penyghent and Whernside all part of the skyline. Not far away, and not to be missed, is the Settle to Carlisle railway and its iconic viaducts. For all this wild scenery, many of our favourite walks begin at the door.
