The Number Seven Guest House was first awarded 4 stars in 2000, and has retained this status ever since. George and Lynne, the current owners, took over the establishment in 2005, and have maintained the high standards for which Number Seven had always been known.
Built in 1847, this lovely building has its own rich history, and is mentioned in many a publication as the home of Count Dracula's lawyer in the famous Bram Stoker book from 1897.
The views from the Number Seven Guest House are spectacular, and it could be argued that it is the best positioned guest house in Whitby. The front rooms boast beautiful views of the sea, the harbour, and Whitby Abbey.
